BRIEF NOTE ON BC WELFARE ACTIVITIES IN
MULUGU DISTRICT
The Government of Telangana implementing various Development and Welfare programmes to the BC families through Backward Classes Development Department to eradicate the poverty and social inequalities in Backward Classes people such as Fee Rreimbursement, Pre-Metric and Post- Metric Scholarships, Welfare Hostels, BC Gurukula schools, Self Employment and individual loans, Group loans to the various BC Communities, incentives to Inter-Caste Marriage Couples, Education loans to Overseas Studies & Kalyana Laxmi etc.
The following schemes are implementing by the BC development department.

The following Amenities are being provided to the B.C. Hostel Boarders:
- Free Distribution of Bed sheets & Carpets, Note Books, (4) pairs of Dresses to 9th and 10th Class boarders and (2) pairs of dresses to 3rd to 8th class Boarders.
- An amount of Rs.50/- for Boys and Rs.55/- for Girl boarder upto VIII Class and Rs.75/- for IX & X Class boarders towards Soap and Oil Sanitary Napkins charges is being paid per month. In addition to Rs.12/- per month per boarder (Boys) towards Hair Cutting Charges.
- Tutors have been appointed for imparting special coaching to 9th & 10th class boarders in (4) subjects i.e., Maths, English, Science and Hindi subjects with a honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per month.
- Mess Charges @ Rs. 950/- to 3rd to 7th class boarders and Rs.1100/-to the boarders of 8th class to 10th class and Rs.1500/- to the boarders of Govt. College Hostels, w.e.f. 12-6-2017. A revised menu is implemented as per the enhanced

MAHATMA JYOTIBA PHULE B.C. OVERSEAS VIDYA NIDHI (MJPBCOVN) :
The Govt. have introduce a new scheme in the name of “Mahatma Jyothiba Phula BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi” vide G.O.Ms.No.23, BCW(B) Dept., Dated: 10-10-2016 to provide financial assistance of Rs.20.00 lakhs for BC eligible graduates to pursuing Post Graduate studies aboard (USA, UK, Australia, Canada and Singapore etc.,).
The amount of Rs.20.00 lakhs shall be payable in two installments as follows:-
1). Rs.10.00 lakhs shall be payable of the Institutions / Students.
2). Rs.10.00 lakhs shall be payable of the Institutions / Students up on production of the 1st semester results.
ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE ” SCHEME TO BC ADVOCATES:
Provide stipend to BC Advocates Rs.1000/-P.M. for ( 3 ) years selected in every year for undergoing training as Junior by attaching them with any APP, PP, GP and AGP. The training period is ( 3 ) years.
VII. MAHATMA JYOTHIBA PHULE RESIDENTIAL SCHOOLS :
As per GO Ms No 03 Dated: 11-02-2017 Government of Telangana had sanctioned 119 Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Residential Schools one for each constituency in part of that, MJPTBCWREIS Boys for Mulugu Constituency (Venkatapur (Vill & M) which is running at Mallampally (V), Mulugu (M)
MJPTBCWREIS Boys Mogullapally is running at Mallampally (Vill), Mulugu (M). This Government building in under construction.
Admissions are progressed through Online “tgcet.cgg.gov.in” and “mjptbcwreis.cgg.gov.in”.
